A Kid-Friendly Holiday Shopping Event in Spokane Valley

This holiday season, we’re creating something special just for kids and families in Spokane Valley.

On Sunday, December 21, the Quarry will host our very first Little Elves Market, a one-day holiday event designed to give kids the chance to shop, create and wrap gifts all on their own, while parents enjoy brunch and browsing nearby.

What Is the Little Elves Market?

The Little Elves Market at the Quarry is a holiday shopping experience where children can independently choose gifts for their family members in a fun, supportive environment. Instead of parents doing all the shopping, kids get to feel the joy of picking out meaningful gifts, staying within a set budget and wrapping them with pride.

To keep things simple and accessible, each child will shop with a $25 pre-paid budget, purchased at the register. Items available to kids will be intentionally priced at $1, $3 and $5, making it easy for little shoppers to make thoughtful choices and manage their spending.

It’s a hands-on way to teach generosity, decision-making and the joy of giving.

A Holiday Experience for the Whole Family

While kids shop and wrap gifts, parents can relax and enjoy everything else the Quarry has to offer. The Mercantile will be open with holiday gifts, local goods and seasonal finds, and there will be plenty of opportunities to browse, shop and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

From 10am to 2pm, Santa will be here to visit with families and add an extra bit of holiday magic to the day.

Brunch at the Scale House Kitchen

To make the morning even better, Chef Dustin from The Drifting Table will be serving a special brunch as a guest chef out of the Scale House Kitchen from 10am to 2pm. Families are invited to grab something delicious to eat while kids work through their gift lists.

It’s the perfect combination of food, community and holiday cheer.
