Spokane's Year-Round Market.
BUILT FOR THIS COMMUNITY
Convenience often pulls people elsewhere. Scale House Market was built on the belief that intentional shopping can feel just as easy — and mean a whole lot more.
In partnership with the Spokane Conservation District, we connect local farmers directly with the people who want to buy what they grow. Our vendor selection starts with a simple philosophy: farm and food first. Hyperlocal businesses. Real neighbors. Local dollars staying local.
"The whole goal of this place is to create a hub for the community as far as food security, education, and connection to our local agriculture." — Brittany Tyler, CEO
FOOD. COMMUNTIY. PURPOSE.
What started with around 50 vendors at our grand opening has grown to more than 125 — and we're adding new products every month. Inside our renovated mercantile you'll find produce, baked goods, meat, dairy, and one-of-a-kind artisan goods. Outside, our seasonal atrium runs May through October.
But it goes beyond what's on the shelves. Kids in the Kitchen classes teach practical food skills and connect the next generation to where their food comes from. Local chefs use the space to test ideas and collaborate outside the daily grind of restaurant work. An on-site partnership with the Washington Small Business Development Center gives vendors access to mentorship, advising, and resources designed to support sustainable growth.
This is what a community market looks like when it's built with intention.
COME GROW WITH US
We're not growing for the sake of growth. We're watching what this community actually needs and building toward that — always with intention, always with the people who live and eat here in mind.
There's room for you here. Whether you're a first-time visitor, a loyal regular, a farmer looking for a home for your products, or someone who just wants to show up and be part of something good.

We are currently working through the application process to offer these benefits, but are unable to do so at this time.
Does your market do SNAP Market Match?
We hope to offer this by summer 2026, but stay tuned for updates.
Are there children’s activities at the market?
Yes, we are developing an enriching curriculum that will help children connect with the local environment, conservation, agriculture, and entrepreneurship! We also will have the Spokane County Library District on site many market days. Additionally, stay connected with our “events” page to sign up for Kids in the Kitchen classes and events!
Do you allow pets?
While we all love our animals, please note that only trained service animals are permitted at this location. The Quarry is home to a variety of local wildlife—including marmots, birds of prey, and other sensitive species—and we aim to protect this natural environment. We also host food-focused events and share our campus with a preschool, making safety a top priority for everyone involved.
For the well-being of all—wildlife, guests, children, and your furry companions—please ensure that pets, comfort animals, and emotional
support animals remain at home.
