Open Year-Round: What You’ll Find at the Scale House Mercantile
Share
One of the most common questions we hear is, “Are you open all year?”
The answer is yes.
The Scale House Mercantile is open year-round, offering consistent access to local food, regional products, and thoughtfully made goods well beyond special events and seasonal markets.

A Year-Round Local Food Market
At its core, the Mercantile exists to support local farmers, producers, and food makers while giving the community a reliable place to shop for fresh, local goods. Inside the Mercantile, you’ll find a rotating mix of products sourced from across the Inland Northwest, including:
Fresh, seasonal produce from regional farms
Locally raised meats and seafood
Eggs, dairy, and pantry staples
Prepared foods and baked goods
Books, resources, and tools focused on food, agriculture, and healthy living
Unique gifts and handcrafted items from local makers
Because we work directly with producers, inventory changes with the seasons, but the commitment to local sourcing stays the same year-round.

More Than Just a Market Day
While many people discover Scale House Market through events, workshops, and seasonal markets, the Mercantile is designed to be a regular stop, whether you’re picking up groceries, finding a last-minute gift, or restocking your pantry with food you can feel good about.
We also host hot food service, classes, and special programming throughout the year, making the Mercantile a place to gather, learn, and connect, not just shop.
